SMALL BUSINESS SURVIVAL SUMMIT WILL BE HELD IN BALTIMORE
Event Will Feature Addresses by Rudy Giuliani, Ben Carson, and Bob Paff
BALTIMORE, MD (7/21/11) – With both the Obama Administration and legislators on both sides of the aisle in Congress calling small business the key to America’s economic recovery, Baltimore will play host to The Small Business Survival Summit from September 7-9 at the Baltimore Convention Center (One West Pratt Street in Downtown Baltimore).
Designed to show small businesses how to re-evaluate their business practices, identify available resources, and forge mutually beneficial relationships with area organizations, the Small Business Summit will feature Baltimore-bred entrepreneur and communications expert Bob Paff, founder of the “Communicating to Win” platform.
Paff – a national speaker and former host of the popular CBS Radio show, Communicating to Win, and co-host of Fox News Baltimore’s Morning Show segment, The Competitive Edge – will discuss the connection between building strong, lifelong relationships and business success, as well as the way to tap into those everyday opportunities in order to take your business from just surviving to thriving.
Paff also has been tapped to be the Master of Ceremonies for the Summit, and will share the stage with other keynoters:
• Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who will draw from the principles of leadership outlined in his best-selling book to discuss how effective leadership ultimately can lead to profitability and inspire excellence from a team; and
• World renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Benjamin S. Carson, whose Carson Scholars Fund emphasizes the need to restore competitiveness in education and aspire to excellence.
The three-day Summit also will feature a series of real-world training sessions and workshops on a wide range of critical skills – from leadership and sales to social media and online marketing techniques – that are absolute musts for small businesses to grow and thrive in today’s economy,
“The Small Business Survival Summit is a call to action for small business to take ownership of their destiny in order to move forward in bold, innovative ways and ultimately create their own growth and prosperity,” explains Paff.
Registration for The Small Business Survival Summit is $319 for the entire conference. To register or for more information, visit www.sbssregistration.com
